Role Description: The Senior Researcher works effectively within a team and has a
strong analytical background with a keen understanding of data and its usage.
She/He is expected to be well-versed
in research methodologies and research ethics and is capable of delivering and
executing small and medium projects effectively.
Also responsible for providing
high-quality reports from the data collected and offering appropriate guidance
and mentor to more junior members of the research team.
Skills & Competencies:
Research Skills:
- Understanding and appropriate
application of research methodologies.
- Ability to correctly identify
problems with data and propose appropriate solutions.
- Ability to create high-quality
tools for both qualitative and quantitative research (discussion guides,
questionnaires, etc.).
- Ability to train fieldworkers in
the appropriate research methodology.
- Familiarity with analytical
research software (Atlas.Ti, Eviews, Nvivo, Excel,
SPSS, etc.).
- Understanding and applying
research ethics; ability to evaluate adherence to research ethics on all
projects.
(Data Analysis & Report Writing)
- A deep understanding of how to
analyze data to provide the correct in-depth analysis of the core issues.
- High-level report writing ability
in both Arabic and English.
- Able to lead focus group
discussions and oversee the accurate collection of quantitative data.

HR & Admin Specialist
The Information and Research Center -
King Hussein Foundation (IRCKHF) promotes the welfare of children, youth,
women, families, and vulnerable groups by providing objective,
multidisciplinary research and analysis to practitioners and policymakers in Jordan
and the region.
The IRCKHF is seeking to hire an HR & Admin Specialist who will be reported
directly to the Director of IRCKHF. S/he will be responsible for providing
administrative and HR support, including the following tasks:

Implement HR
policies related to recruitment, performance evaluations, and employee records.
·
Maintain
employee files and assist with payroll preparation.
·
Support
recruitment processes, coordinate interviews, and manage onboarding for new
hires.
·
Monitor
employee attendance and ensure compliance with HR systems.
·
Assist in
administrative tasks such as social security and health insurance coordination.
·
Manage petty
cash and conduct the purchasing of supplies and materials needed by IRCKHF.
Qualifications:
·
Bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration or a related field.
·
1-3 years of HR or administrative
experience.
·
Strong organizational, communication,
and time management skills.
·
Familiarity with Jordanian labor laws
and HR systems (e.g., MenaMe).
·
Fluency in Arabic and English.
