Research

Everything the IRCKHF does begins with research; research feeds into all our other programs. It is one of our strategic objectives to conduct qualitative and quantitative multidisciplinary research. We adopt in our research projects a holistic, inclusive and bottom-up approach – involving and engaging with stakeholders wherever possible. We have been trained in and are known for using creative methodologies, participatory methods and peer research with children and youth. It is also one of our objectives to promote international research quality standards and ethics; we are the Middle East North Africa representative on the Board of the Childwatch International Research Network. Research findings cannot be left idle. In order to uphold our mission and make an impact at the policy level, our work is set up to link research with our other awareness, advocacy and knowledge sharing programs.
