In an effort to raise awareness on the numerous health, social and economic harms of smoking and to urge decision-makers to draw up policies directed to curb it, the Information and Research Center - King Hussein Foundation with contribution from the Arab Meeting for Social and Health Sciences (AFFSH) and the University of Belmond in Lebanon, conducted a research study on the phenomenon of smoking tobacco and nargile among adolescents aged (15-18) in Jordan. The study looked into the causes, the prevalence as well as the effects.
