This research conducted by the IRCKHF was the first phase of a project by The National Center for Culture and Arts–King Hussein Foundation entitled ‘Mobilizing Young Jordanians towards Effective Political Participation’. The project aimed to contribute to organizing and mobilizing young eligible voters by equipping them with the necessary skills to become agents of change. The project used creative tools, such as interactive theatre, as mediums to convey messages and information to the youth while promoting a culture of dialogue and open discussion. Through a series of focus group discussions, this research aimed to explore the knowledge, attitudes and behavioral practices of young Jordanian students in political life in their universities and neighboring communities. The project targeted the political engagement of young female and male university students (aged 18-24) from central and northern governorates in Jordan.
