Takamol - HAQQI Gender Clearing House

This project established the Takamol - HAQQI Gender Clearing House platform as a unique opportunity to enrich the gender discussion in Jordan through through personalizing, enriching and enhancing the gender infromation in Jordan.  The Gender Clearing House or Takamol - HAQQI  displayed gender-related information that links the local community to the international gender-related community, enabling wide sharing of knowledge.  

 

Through the centralized information platform,the project  enriches the gender topic in Jordan by serving to a) provide public access to engage wider audience to local-specific gender information through interactive information, b) link the local community to the international community through international days, c) provide a comparison platform with Arab Countries to expand on possible solutions and approaches for advocacy, and finally d) Increase knowledge, awareness, and education on gender issues in Jordan encouraging further expanded research and knowledge to be developed.

 

A new gendered HAQQI known as Takamol - HAQQI was  launched on Thursday, 10 September, 2015!
