Child Rights Connect

Child Rights Connect was initially set up in 1983 as the Ad Hoc NGO Group for the drafting of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child to influence the drafting of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), the first and most comprehensive international human rights treaty for children. Since then, Child Rights Connect has worked for decades to connect UN human rights systems to the daily realities of children’s lives.

In October 2013, Child Rights Connect supported the Information and Research Center – King Hussein Foundation’s participation and representation of Jordanian NGO’s in Geneva for the 66th Pre-Sessional Working Group of the Committee on Rights of the Child (CRC), established under the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
